Rehearsal DIY For Alabama and Florida Beach Weddings

Rehearsals can be stressful but they are actually a lot more simple to do than you think! Especially with the beauty of beach weddings you can make it as traditional or as laid back as you want. Beach weddings are simple to plan and can have all inclusive packages which makes it easier for you! Here are a few tips in order to have the perfect Rehearsal DIY for a beach wedding.

First, make a list of the bridal party and do the pairings of both bridesmaid and groomsmen. Then start by getting everyone in the order they will be walking during processional. It’s important to tell your wedding party that they need to be evenly spaced. You also need to inform them to stand at a slight angle in relation to the wedding guests; with the attendants at each end a little more forward than the Maid of Honor and Best Man. This looks better for pictures, and helps the guests see each person in your wedding party better. Typically, the Bride, her family and her Bridesmaids will be on the left side of the aisle and the Groom, his family and Groomsmen will be on the right side of the aisle.

Bridesmaids and Groomsmen can walk down the aisle together or separately. If they do walk down separately, it does make the beach ceremony more simple for everyone regarding rehearsals. Bridesmaids should hold their bouquets in front of them with both hands, and groomsmen should decide on clasping their hands in the front or the back of their body. It’s important that everyone do the same thing. The Maid of Honor and Best Man should stand next to the Bride and Groom, but not too close. It’s important to make sure that each couple leaves enough room between themselves and the couple in front of them. To do this, everyone should agree on a set distance they will wait for before walking down the aisle (about 30 seconds). Most people choose to start walking when the couple in front of them is halfway back up the aisle.

An example of what the Wedding Processional Order should look is:

1. The guests are to be seated.
2.The Groom, Best Man (unless he is walking with the Maid of Honor) and Officiant enter.
3. Grandparents enter (this is optional unless they want to already be seated in step 1).
4. Parents enter (except father, if he is walking the bride down the aisle), (optional if they want to be seated in step 1).
5. Bridesmaids and Groomsmen paired up should enter next .
6. Maid of Honor and Best Man (unless he walked down with the Groom already) enter.
7. Ring Bearer enter.
8. Flower Girl enter.
9. Father with the Bride walk down the aisle together.

Since the bride will stand on the left side with her bridal party, she should walk on the left side. If the bride's escort is her father, he will lead her to the front of the aisle. When they get to the altar he then takes his seat next to the bride's mother on the left side.

Overall, beach weddings are not strict, they are super laid back All in all this should make up for the most perfect Rehearsal DIY, just don’t forget to smile!
